The Wisconsin Black Belt League (WBBL) was created to promote:
• Sport Karate Point Fighting in Wisconsin
• Competition throughout state tournaments amongst competitors
• A fun and positive opportunity for Martial Artist to improve at Sport Karate Point Fighting.
2012 WBBL Sparring Event for Youth
The WBBL presents a Youth Sparring Event 6 to 13 years old. The next event for the 2012 season, Blizzard Blaze, will take place Sunday, February 26th, 2012 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin at the Hotel Mead. This event will start at 9:00 am for all belt levels 4 to 13 years old. All youth will receive a trophy for taking part in this event, winners of their division will earn a trophy! Cost for the event is $30 for the first family member fighter and $25 for each fighter after that. Please fillout a Pre-Registration Form under youth registration below and bring it with you or signup at the door! The WBBL is an organization devoted to creating opportunities for martial artist to train and improve at sport karate point fighting.
Blizzard Blaze February 26, 2012
Events are held three times per year throughout the state of Wisconsin. The next event for the 2012 season, Blizzard Blaze, will take place Sunday, February 26th, 2012 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin at the Hotel Mead. Watch for more information soon! Each event consists of Tag Team Point Fighting Tournament starting at 11 AM, and a single point fighting tournament immediately following the tag team event. There are no trophies in the WBBL, only the recognition you gain. Winners are recognized as the WBBL Champion until the next event. The winners will also have their picture with the WBBL title belt and their championship fight placed on the WBBL website. View more information about Blizzard Blaze event! WBBL is for all fighters ages 14 through adults. Fighters who are not a black belt but have the devotion to spar like one can join the league. You must hold at least a green belt in your style and have your instructor sign a permission form to spar with the advanced belts. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a legal guardian sign a waiver allowing you to participate in the WBBL.
League fees include an annual payment of $50 to become a member for one year. The annual fee covers access to all three WBBL events, the membership card that gets you in the door, a WBBL patch, and a WBBL certificate. There are no other fees to participate in the WBBL at this time.
